I take out my camera and right away Dane crabs Glory, they stand in front of me and say cheeeeeeesssseeee….

HA!

I don’t want to disappoint them, so I shoot.

Three seconds later, they’re gone.

I am pretty sure that they thought that was it. Yeah… that was their photo session.

I really have to thanks their mommy for letting them have fun.

They splashed, they got muddy, they got soaked.

Dane was even ready to dive in.

Oh, good times…

I am so thankful for those people who believe in me and have been so supportive of what I do. I appreciate every comment posted or said. I sometimes follow shortly with a simple “thank you,” but I sometimes cannot express all my feelings with words. For example: what do you call that feeling that puts a smile on your face, but yet you want to cry of joy because it means so much to you? Get my point? But believe me; that “thank you” comes from the bottom of my heart.

I would specially like to thank Jake, Cat, Pam, my Turbo friends, and my Delta Pals. I am so lucky to have you in my life.

It’s been a while since I posted some photos of my own baby… and I must admit that taking pictures of Lucianna’s feet made want to take photos of my own baby’s feet.

Julian is so big now, but he’s still is and will always be my baby.

Snoozy Lucianna, Snoozy Mom

I arrived to meet Lucianna for the first time. She was awake and hungry. Mom thought that since she’s been up for a while, she would eat and then sleep throughout the session. However, our plans and our kids plans are not always the same (or should I say never?). In result, Lucianna was awake for 5 hours straight. She broke her own record. Sometimes she would close her eyes, but… she wouldn’t be sleeping, she would just rest her eyes for a little bit.

I remember those days… feed baby, put baby to sleep, change diaper, feed baby again, and the cycle never ends, and you hope to get a rest somewhere in between. It is so tiring… and for a while you even forget of yourself because you are so busy giving it all for your baby. I can’t find a better word to describe this but “love.”

I have been so blessed to experience this for myself with my own child. Now, I received more blessings by having the opportunity to experience a little bit of it through another perspective. Thank you, Sarah and Jeremy, for sharing this wonderful miracle of life with me.

Little Miss Cheese Lover

Taylor nods her head in agreement.

“Okay, finish what’s on your bowl and you can have more”

THREE seconds later and a mouth full, she’s ready for more.

Last weekend, I had the privilege to photograph Nichole Martin and her family. If you haven’t already heard, Nichole is doing wonderful things in our community to help children with autism and their families.
